Projects

Hemaras Construction Inc. is not only interested in full project management opportunities but based on the below listing of our experience we are also interested to bid on packages or portions of projects for any part of the work that is covered by the below examples.

Site Preparation and Earthworks Experience

Early Earthworks preparation completed and ready for next construction phase of the Biomass Power Plant.

In July 2012 Hemaras began the earthworks – phase one of construction of a Biomass Power Plant near La Crete, northern Alberta for Mustus Energy Ltd.

Hemaras mobilized the site immediately after the award of the project; including 20 pieces of heavy equipment and all associated services to provide continuous 12 hour work days and fast progress on the project.

The engineering support of ARAS which is an affilated company, has proven to be an asset to the progress of the project by providing prompt drawings, data sheets and engineering services in general, therefore increasing the quality of the work that we can provide to our client

Hemaras anticipates that this phase of the project will be completed under budget and earlier than originally anticipated.

Hemaras engaged mainly local businesses and sourced skilled labour in the area.

Key successes for Hemaras have been;

  • Ensuring our Health, Safety and Environmental program is fully implemented and everyone is following all policies, procedures and documentation requirements,
  • Identifying cost and time savings to pass onto our client, and
  • Making sure that quality control and quality assurance standards are met and exceeded.

Pump and Compressor Stations/ Mechanical Construction and Erection

Hemaras’s management team has executed pipeline related projects including; pump and compressor stations, tank erection and oil terminals.

  • Ahwaz-Ray new crude oil pumping station: 5 turbo driven pump stations and 2 intermediate trap stations where each pumping station consists of 4 turbo driven pumps with total installation horse power of 26,000 hp.
  • Construction of 6 pump stations from Persian Gulf Port of Bandar Abbas to Isfahan of which two pump stations utilise 6 turbo driven pumps and the other four stations are equipped with 13 electro pumps in order to transfer 360,000 barrels/day of refined product.
  • Construction of triple pipeline (32″, 30″ and 20″) using marine equipment in order to transport and install about 6 km of pipeline and related facilities to commission crude oil off loading jetty to feed the Bandar Abbas Refinery.

Tank Erection and Oil Terminals
